Welcome People...

Lets talk Love..Sex..and Relationships

Women Arent As Cool With One-Night Stands As Men

Lets start with one thing..Just like every study ever conducted, just because this doesnt apply to YOU doesnt mean it doesnt apply.

My Boyfriend Is Turned Off By My Hairy Legs.

Im 25 and have been dating a man who is 34 for the last 1.5 years. There is a lot to like about him he's smart, kind, caring, and dependable. He is almost the elusive alpha male nerd.

Am I Being Too Materialistic By Giving Up on a Financially Unstable Man?

I decided to get back into the dating world and I met this guy online four weeks ago. So its all still very early and very new. But a big worry for me is that is has absolutely no stability or consistency in his life.

When Do I Draw The Line When He Parties With the Boys?

My boyfriend loves partying weekends and some weeknights with his friends. We are in our late 20s and I party a bit too but dont consider it extremely important.

Last Chance to Understand Men and Find Love

I sent you a quiz to see if you were carrying yourself with confidence around men.

I sent you two long videos providing answers to some of the most important questions.

I shared stories of Jules, Stacie, Zoe and Mattie, who took this same advice I’m about to share and turned it into love.

I sent you emails letting you know about tomorrow’s webinar, “How You Can Stop Wasting Time on the Wrong Men and Finally Choose Your Husband.”

Nearly 2000 women have already said yes and will be joining me to learn three tips to be confident with men in all dating situations as well as:

The ONE way to determine if a man is WRONG for you.

The ONE way to determine if a man is RIGHT for you
.

This is priceless stuff that I’m giving you for free, and if you haven’t registered to see me on Monday night, I just have to ask: what are you waiting for?

You’re on my mailing list because you want to understand men and find love.

You’re on my mailing list because you’re sick of the pain, confusion and wasted time that comes with dating the wrong men.

I’m going to help you correct it, once and for all.

No more getting used by charismatic charmers.
No more turning a blind eye to angry and abusive men.
No more making excuses for emotionally unavailable commitmentphobes.

Tomorrow, December 14th, at 5pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern, I am going to help you find and marry a man who is devoted to making your life better every day.

I must warn you, there’s only room for 2000 people in the webinar, so register now to ensure you don’t miss out on the free online event of the year.

Warmest wishes and much love,

Your friend,

Evan

P.S. There is some priceless information about confidence that I’m giving to you for free that will forever change the way men see you and you see yourself.

Stacie started began following my advice not long ago – and has been greatly rewarded for her choice.

Evan, I am a relatively new reader to your blog but it has become my bible. After my divorce two years ago, I found myself lost, lonely, and with very little experience when it came to dating. I am a psychologist and know plenty about human behavior, but I never realized how very little I knew when it came to understanding men! Dating is a skill, and one that I was sorely lacking.

I read “Why He Disappeared” and I follow your website and Facebook page religiously. I cannot emphasize enough how much your advice changed my approach to dating and relationships, and how greatly it increased my success. I have always struggled in relationships – I am very insecure, anxious, and needy – but with your help I began to change longstanding patterns and trust that you would help me land a wonderful guy.

Each time a man failed me or disappeared, I would feel despair, but I brushed myself off and got back out there. And then I met Grant. He was not the kind of man I’d typically choose, but I was following your advice to cast a broader net. I have long been attracted to alpha males in uniform (classic, right?) – my ex-husband was in the military and was the alpha “uber alles,” and I wanted that again. But after a string of failed relationships with emotionally unavailable military men, firefighters, and police officers, I realized that *they* didn’t have to change…I did.

Grant is a physics teacher (no uniform, just khaki pants!). He’s college-educated, smart, funny, nerdy, and a little socially awkward, which I find endearing. Since I am a social scientist, we bond over jokes about dinosaurs and statistics! He has planned numerous elaborate and fun dates for us. I love the time I spend with him. Above all, he is emotionally stable, consistent, physically affectionate, has no baggage, and he tolerates my quirks and has done everything I’ve asked of him. I can tell he’s an introvert and a bit of a loner, and yet he makes time to talk to me every day and – although we live almost an hour apart – to see me twice a week. He is not verbally effusive, which I expected given that he’s a math guy, but I can tell that he cares by his actions. When we are together he makes me feel like the only girl on earth. We have only been together two months but we are “official,” and I am excited to see where this relationship takes us. But I also know that, should things fall apart, I have the confidence and skills to get back out there and take another shot.

This has not been an easy journey for me; my emotional needs are challenging even for the most devoted partner, and for years I thought my ex-husband was the only man who would ever be able to manage me. Now, I have worked incredibly hard to manage myself, so that I can allow my best self to shine through in a relationship. My confidence and self-esteem have grown, and I frequently find myself sharing your advice with friends who are also single and despairing that there are “no good men” out there! I felt the same way, but once I committed to prioritizing my love life and putting in the effort, I found that a happy, healthy relationship with a wonderful guy is possible.

THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart!

Stacie W.

So, please, reserve 90 minutes to join me tomorrow and break your cycle of bad men, once and for all. At the end of the call, I’m hosting a live Q&A and giving you the opportunity to learn about enrolling in the new and improved Love U.

Congratulations, you’re on your way to happiness!

Register for the webinar here and secure your spot before they’re gone.

Here’s the latest video from the series I created with Three Day Rule. It’s called “Why Do Women Care About Height?”

You can’t legislate attraction. It’s something that happens deep within us. However, when you dismiss potential dates based on their height, you could be turning away your perfect mate.

In today’s video we talk about why you’re better off compromising on height, than on other, more important qualities in a man.

(Video) The Secret to Getting a Man to Love You

Secret to Getting a Man to Love You

We may disagree on a lot, but I hope we can agree on this:

Some people live in a black and white world, but the world is not black and white.

Believe me, I understand the appeal of black and white thinking.

It’s simpler. It’s cleaner. You don’t have to understand anyone else’s feelings. All you know is if someone disagrees with you, they’re WRONG.

The problem, of course, is that black and white thinking creates friction out in the real world, where there are a lot of bright, ethical people with a different worldview.

I was thinking about this when I was making the Need vs. Needy segment in the video I shared with you on Tuesday.

I was well aware that I could potentially offend some black and white thinkers, but it was too important to me to present a more nuanced view about the concept of need.

In short, everyone has needs.

If your needs are excessive, you may unintentionally come across as “needy” – which is usually unattractive and draining.

Thus, the most effective way to be with a man is “vulnerable.” Being vulnerable allows you to share your thoughts and feelings openly without driving men away.

Since you value vulnerability in men – as opposed to weak men or standoffish men – it’s important to recognize that men value vulnerability, too.

The most effective way to be with a man is “vulnerable.” Being vulnerable allows you to share your thoughts and feelings openly without driving men away.

Once you start leading with trust, authenticity, and vulnerability, you will attract more men, connect with more men, and be able to find a boyfriend fast.

There’s only one problem about finding a boyfriend fast.

You have no idea where your story is going to end up.

It’s not that hard to find a guy who’s willing to sleep with you regularly under the guise of being a “boyfriend.”

It is much harder to find a guy who treats you consistently well over the long haul.

That’s why I’ve made another video that addresses some of the most timeless questions you have when you’re dating someone seriously.

What is my boyfriend thinking?

How can I make my boyfriend want to commit to me?

I refuse to settle on the wrong man, but why is it so hard to find the right one?

If Tuesday’s video covered Confidence, Meeting Men and Dating, this one talks about what happens AFTER you finally meet a great guy.

Understanding Men. Relationships. Commitment.

Once you start leading with trust, authenticity, and vulnerability, you will attract more men, connect with more men, and be able to find a boyfriend fast.

If all three of those have been hard to come by, I can’t wait to show you how to turn your love life around instantly.

To experience the joy of having a cute guy find you wildly attractive…

To have a partner who does what he says and says what he means…

To relax around the man who makes you feel safe, heard and understood…

If you want to turn the corner on the failures of your past, click here to watch my second video.

When you’re done, please, share your takeaways in the comments section, and register for my free webinar, “How You Can Stop Wasting Time on the Wrong Men and Finally Choose Your Husband” on Monday, December 14th at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern .

This is a one-time only event – with all new advice on confidence – that will give you all the tools you need to find the man of your dreams – in just 90 minutes.

No more loneliness. No more frustration. No more embarrassment. No more anxiety.

Soon, you will feel happy and connected, knowing you are loved by a man who will do anything to make you happy.

Enjoy the video! And don’t forget to register for next Monday’s HUGE event!

Warmest wishes and much love,

Your friend,

Evan

P.S. Zoe finally learned to understand men. Here is the result:

Before Evan, I thought that if I had a great date with a guy, then it meant that he wanted me in his life. I thought that if there was immediate chemistry and attraction and good conversation, then we were meant to be together. I thought that it was perfectly all right for me to remind a man that I existed in between dates, by texting, calling, emailing, and checking up on him via the dating website. I thought that the best way to be happy in a relationship was to keep the man on a short leash. Unfortunately, none of these beliefs were getting me the sort of results I wanted in my dating life. It had been over a decade since my last satisfying relationship and I had nearly resigned myself to being alone and unhappy for the rest of my life.

From listening to Evan, I learned that men will do what they want to do and my nagging, complaining, and harping will not get him to change his mind or his behavior. What it will do is create distance and cause him to feel unsafe/unhappy around me, leading to his withdrawal. I learned that when a man is really into you, he’ll be thinking about you, calling you, eager to see you again, and generally keeping well in touch in between dates. He’ll be interested to learn more about you, as a person. Even though he’s anxious for it, he’ll wait for sex. He’ll respond to appreciation and acceptance. He’s not commitmentphobic.

I have to say that I am in the most satisfying relationship I have ever had and I owe it all to Evan’s coaching. I have been challenged to examine my beliefs about relationships and about men and about myself. I have been urged to step up my communication and meet my man at the level of honesty that he is proposing. I have been gently reproved. I am in an exclusive relationship with a man who is always happy to see me, who treats me like a lady, and who welcomes me into every aspect of his life, unreservedly. He tells everyone how happy he is with me. I feel completely accepted by him and I look forward to more time with him.

Zoe F.

You want a man who tells everyone how happy he is with you?

This is how you get him.

(Video) The Reason You Attract Men Who Treat You Poorly

Reason You Attract Men Who Treat You Poorly

In my past few posts, I revealed a few personal things about myself and tied them back to important dating lessons for you.

1. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

2. Perception is reality.

3. It doesn’t matter if you feel secure if you act insecure.

Many of you wrote back to tell me how much those lessons resonated – and how painful it is to look back at all the crap you’ve put up with from men.

But there’s a big difference between realizing you’ve acted insecure in the past and understanding how to correct that behavior in the future.

That’s what I’m here for.

And what I love about my readers is that you are not shy about asking me to address what’s on your mind the most: how to identify good men and discard bad ones.

  • How do you decipher the men that are looking for a real relationship vs. the ones looking for a one-night stand?
  • How can I be sure the man that starts out so strong is a man who wants to build a relationship and not a player?
  • Why didn’t he felt connected with me since he showed signs of being in love?
  • What makes men commit to some women and not others?
  • How do you know when you’ve met the “right” guy?

Believe it or not, there are answers to all of these questions – and I’m going to share them with you shortly.

Choosing a husband is not a happy accident but a skill.

But I’ve gotta tell you: as a dating coach, I probably do the same thing that you do every day: observe common patterns and try to make sense of them.

Doctors do this. Lawyers do this. Finance people do this. Teachers do this. Dog trainers do this. We look for behavioral patterns and adjust to them.

Tell me if this pattern sounds familiar to you:

You fall for a guy based on chemistry and common interests.

He makes a great effort to charm you, seduce you, and win you over.

You get your hopes up.

You let down your guard.

You fall in love.

You later discover that he is selfish, abusive, critical, or unwilling to make a long-term commitment to you.

And while it seems obvious that you should let him go, you end up staying because it’s so rare for you to find such a unique and powerful connection with a man.

The longer you stay, the sadder you get, the more time you waste, and the more you convince yourself that it’s impossible to find true love.

The problem is that you don’t want to give up.

You don’t want to be alone for the rest of your life.

You want to live happily ever after.

You want to know the answer to one vital question that will determine your future:

“How can I stop wasting time on the wrong men and finally choose a husband?”

Choosing a husband is not a happy accident but a skill.

You may not see love that way, but I do.

The best way to create true intimacy – for both men and women – is by being VULNERABLE.

Before a doctor becomes a heart surgeon, she has to take biology.

Before a lawyer argues before the Supreme Court, she has to go to law school.

And before we can talk about how you can finally choose a husband, I think it’s valuable to walk through a few of the steps that come before marriage.

• Confidence
• Meeting Men
• Dating
• Understanding Men
• Relationships
• Commitment

That’s a lot of stuff. And you don’t have to figure it all out right away.

Last week, we identified 20 ways in which you may have acted insecure with men.

This week, I’m going to build on that quiz with a free video that answers 3 common dating questions (which also have to do with confidence):

• How can I make a man feel needed without being “needy”?

• Why don’t I ever meet any quality men?

• Why do I always seem to attract unavailable guys who treat me poorly?

The first question on being needy is new content and I’m excited to share it with you. It points out what you’ve already observed in men:

If a guy is too aloof, it’s hard to feel emotionally connected to him.

If a guy is too needy, it makes you want to run away with him.

So the best way to create true intimacy – for both men and women – is by being VULNERABLE.

Click here to watch the video and learn the answers to your top three dating questions.

Warmest wishes and much love,

Your friend,
Evan

Why Perception is Reality and Why You May Be More Insecure Than You Think

Why Perception is Reality

We all have strengths and weaknesses.

From reading my blog, I would think that mine are pretty obvious.

I’m experienced…but that may make me more rigid in my beliefs.

I’m opinionated…but also prone to rubbing people the wrong way.

I’m logical…but it can be hard for emotional people to connect with me.

I’m balanced…but that can be frustrating when you want me to take your side.

Some men think I’m a sell-out to women for demanding better behavior from men.

Some women think I favor men because I often play devil’s advocate with women.

The only reason I bring this up is because I think it’s important to know how you’re perceived by others.

Believe me, the truth hurts, and it’s far easier to not acknowledge others’ perceptions at all.

I mean seriously, do you think it feels good to confess to tens of thousands of women that I can be perceived as cold, masculine, stubborn and rigid?

Of course not.

And while I may not entirely agree with the assessment myself, the point is that perception IS reality.

There’s how you see yourself. There’s how others see you.

The two don’t always line up.

I recently encouraged you to take my quiz “20 Signs You’ve Wasted Time on the Wrong Men and Don’t Know How to Choose the Right One.”

You quickly filled out a bunch of boxes, in which you admitted to relationship behavior that indicates a level of insecurity.

There’s how you see yourself. There’s how others see you. The two don’t always line up.

And maybe, when you finished the quiz, you received a score that said you were Insecure – and that score really stung.

After all, you don’t FEEL insecure.

You look in the mirror and see an attractive woman.

You know that you’re kind and generous to loved ones.

You’ve got ample evidence that you’re bright and competent at work.

So, how dare my little quiz suggest that you’re insecure?

This is where perception becomes reality.

Because it doesn’t matter if you feel secure if you ACT insecure.

If you are stuck in a relationship where you give but don’t receive…

If you are afraid to have an authentic conversation with your partner…

If you’ve stayed with a man for over three months who was not your boyfriend…

You have acted insecure.

These actions send a loud and clear subliminal message to men:

You don’t value yourself enough to speak your mind.

You don’t value yourself enough to demand fair treatment.

You don’t value yourself enough to expect commitment.

And if you don’t value yourself enough to expect more from men, you will continue to get less than you deserve from them.

Listen, I can’t tell you if you want to make any changes in your life.

I continue to be challenging even though it doesn’t always win me fans. But at least I understand how I’m perceived.

By taking my quiz, you were finally able to see how men perceive you – whether it’s confident or insecure.

Below are the overall results of the quiz. I have to say, the results didn’t surprise me:

20 Signs Chart2

That’s right.

96% of women act insecure when it comes to relationships.

Which means that, for all you beat yourself up about how “bad” you are at relationships, if anything, your experience is NORMAL.

It’s normal to be insecure around men, put up with subpar treatment, and waste time on guys who make for terrible relationship partners.

But just because it’s normal doesn’t mean you have to continue your pattern.

It’s normal to be insecure around men… But just because it’s normal doesn’t mean you have to continue your pattern.

If your behaviors are more insecure than your personality, you now have actionable information – and I want to give you even more of it.

Next week, I’m going to share some incredible free video content that teaches you how to be your most confident self wherever you go, and command proper treatment from the men you value most.

Until then, have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks for being brave enough to face the truth about how you’re perceived.

I’m proud to call you my reader and my friend.

Warmest wishes and much love,

Your friend,

Evan

What I’m Thankful For: You

What I’m Thankful For - You

For most of us in the U.S., Thanksgiving is a four-day excuse to binge eat and watch football with your family.

Me, too.

But ever since I married into my wife’s traditional Christian family, I’ve discovered another meaning.

Everyone goes around the table before dinner and states something that he/she is thankful for. The comments are quick, but profound. How often do we actually take the time to express our gratitude like this to people we love?

Not that often. Which is ironic, given that, scientifically, showing appreciation actually makes you a happier person. But of course it does.

I tell my wife I love her and appreciate her.

It makes her happy.

She usually returns the favor.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Thus, appreciation is one of the easiest ways to make yourself feel better on a regular basis.

Since I learned this, I’ve become over-the-top effusive in praising others. Yesterday, I literally stopped a conversation with a woman to say, “You know what? I like you. I think you’re great.”

It made me feel good and I hope it made her morning.

Anyway, since you’re now over your food coma, and digging out of a pile of work, I wanted to take this brief moment to express my appreciation for you.

As an extrovert who spends all his time alone, you are my sole connection to the outside world.

Appreciation is one of the easiest ways to make yourself feel better on a regular basis.

Which is one of many reasons that I spend so much time responding to comments on my blog, Facebook and Twitter.

It’s also one of the reasons that I relish any feedback you give to me.

Your emails are the lifeblood of my business and they are the single biggest reason I never tire of the solitude of being a writer.

I have literally saved every email I’ve ever received in a folder on my computer.

On days when I feel adrift or need to be reminded of my mission in life, I look at that folder and receive heartwarming tangible reminders about why I do this.

It feels incredible to know that I can touch women from all over the world with a newsletter or a quote that educates and inspires. But the only way I know how you feel is if you tell me.

Jules sent me this email, and if it wasn’t so long, I’d have printed it up and framed:

Evan, I want to thank you SO much for everything that you do. I really believe that it was a driving force behind me having the relationship that I’ve always wanted. I was divorced, never dated much before, and read your “Why He Disappeared” eBook in one sitting. It really changed things for me. I finally understood why that guy I went out with on 3 amazing dates never called me again, I finally understood why that guy I had been texting for over 1 month never asked me out.

But here is my favorite part, I STOPPED GETTING UPSET ABOUT IT. Okay, I was a little hurt, but not like I was before, and I didn’t let it stop me or hold me back because I KNEW there was going to be another guy out there.

Also, I stopped trying to lead the relationship. I finally learned to let go, stop being SO invested in every single date and started to have fun with dating. I’m being honest when I say I had TONS of fun dating. I learned to focus on being playful, just having a great conversation with a man, and stopped appearing so desperate.

That’s when he found me. The love of my life. All it took was a few email exchanges on an online dating website, and before I met him I made a conscious choice to try to be myself; this meant I did not get super dolled up for our brunch date but went looking “cute” and friendly and open. He was not my type at all. He was the same culture and religion as me, which I told myself I would never do, and he was not my type physically at all. But this time was different.

I decided to focus on how he made me feel and give it a chance. And let me tell you, he makes me feel like no other man has ever made me feel. Safe, wanted, loved, cared for, special, funny, desired. What I also realized is that when I am being completely and utterly myself (like the way I am with a best friend; nothing to hide, nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to be fake about), he is even more crazy about me.

He always told me when we were first dating that he thought I was a “cool girl” and let me tell you, it took a while for me to get there!! I was a nervous girl, a not so confident-don’t know-what I’m doing-girl, but you gave me confidence, Evan. I knew that I should focus on the way he makes me feel and I should focus on making him feel good too (quizzing him on our 3rd date on whether he wants to ever get married would NOT make him feel good, so I didn’t do that, asking him why he didn’t call me one or two days out of the week when he called every other day was NOT going to make him feel good, so I didn’t do that either).

I also learned that it is OKAY for a woman to say what she wants or is important to her in a matter of fact way, and the guy can either take it or leave it. If the man cannot or does not want to provide that, it is up to the woman to decide if she still wants to be with him. After 2 years of dating. I dropped a “hint” and sent him a picture of a ring and told him should he ever consider it in the future, that was my style. A few months later he proposed with that exact same style of ring I sent him. We are getting married on a beach in about 2 weeks now, and I wanted to thank you again for all the work you do. It truly, really, makes a difference. It helped me become the woman I wanted to be (and always knew I could be) in a relationship; confident, open, giving and receiving.

THANK YOU EVAN!!!

-Jules

I don’t care who you are, but being appreciated never gets old – whether it’s by your boss, your employees, your children, your parents, or, in this case, your readers.

To be clear, I’m not soliciting emails from you.

Like all relationships, our dynamic relies on a give and take.

If anything, I’m encouraging you to call (or text) someone you love for no reason other than to express your gratitude.

I promise: you will have a positive impact – that will likely ripple into another positive expression of love in return.

Yes, a little appreciation goes a long way.

Now that you’ve reminded me that I am appreciated, I’ll make even a greater effort to give you more free dating and relationship advice.

Like all relationships, our dynamic relies on a give and take.

So please, if you haven’t already, click here to take my quiz “20 Signs You’ve Wasted Time on the Wrong Men and Don’t Know How to Choose the Right One.”

It’s juicy stuff that will let you know right away how confident you are – and illustrate just how many ways you’ve sacrificed for the wrong men.

I’ve already received over 3000 responses and they’ve been incredibly illuminating. I can’t wait to share all the results with you on Thursday.

Warmest wishes and much love,

Your friend,

Evan
